Love with Food ~ Review and Giveaway ~

Buy a box, give a meal! What a great way to run a company.  Love with Food does just that.  Each month Love with Food offers their "Best Bites" box, a box filled with 5-6 gourmet food sample for you to try.  For each box sold, they donate a meal to help fight hunger through the No Kid Hungry program.  You can join their monthly club for just $14 per month (includes shipping) or give a 3 or 6 month membership to their monthly club.   If you are done receiving their samples, you can cancel at any time.  Each month they try to gather tasty samples around a theme.  My box was the January box and all the foods where healthy.  February's theme will be "Treats for your Sweetheart".

January Love with Food Box

Each box includes your samples and a card describing the foods you are receiving.  I have tried the Ginger chews (spicy and delicious) and the glazed Almonds first and both were delicious.  I also sampled the ginger granola and Somersault snacks and was very pleased.  My 4 year old daughter devoured the fruit leather!  The only thing I haven't tried is the tea because I am not big on hot tea.  If you like the foods you try, you can easily find the full sized versions on their website for purchase at a discount each month, until the next box is released.

6 Gourmet Treats to Try
My January box contained the following:
  • The Ginger People - Original Ginger Chews - spicy, chewy and delicious
  • The Ginger People - Spicy Apple Ginger Chews
  • Nuts About Granola - "Plane Jane" Peanut Butter Granola - I mixed mine into some Vanilla Greek Yogurt, would also be great by itself or mixed with some raisins or other dried fruit.
  • Sahale Snacks - Almonds with Cranberries, Honey + Sea Salt - lightly sweetened with Sesame seeds in the glaze.  It makes for a yummy afternoon snack.
  • Somersault Snacks - Pacific Sea Salt - Like little whole grain crackers with sunflower seeds.
  • Stretch Island Fruit Co - Mango Sunrise - This isn't the first time I have had Stretch Island Fruit leather, it is a staple in my house so that should tell you something.
  • Mighty Leaf Teas - Chocolate Mint Truffle
