From the Publisher:

No one knows cheese better than Laura Werlin, and now she's applying her expertise to everyone's favorite macaroni dish. Inside, you'll find 50 recipes organized by fun topics, such as Classic and Almost-Classic Mac & Cheese, Porky Mac & Cheese, Decadent Mac & Cheese, Lighten Up Mac & Cheese, Veggie Mac & Cheese, Party Time Mac & Cheese, and Breakfast for Dinner Mac & Cheese. The 50 recipes are presented in a fun format, like her previous title, Grilled Cheese Please! She even includes an appendix that includes info on all the food trucks and restaurants that specialize in mac & cheese.

My View:

Any parent knows that Mac & Cheese is a necessity in your house. Any former child knows that Mac & Cheese is the comfort food to end all comfort foods. What you may NOT know (though I hope you already do) is that the bright Orange stuff that comes in the blue box isn't the best tasting nor the best for you. It is just what you are used to. I have spent many an hour in search of the perfect Mac & Cheese recipe. I have now found a cookbook devoted to just that...

Mac & Cheese, Please! is more than just a recipe book. It takes the first 20 something pages to explain the components of and techniques used in making truly great mac & cheese. It gives you the insider secrets, it would otherwise take years of experimentation to achieve.

There are full color photographs, easy to follow recipes, and variation suggestions at every turn. There are oven recipes and stovetop recipes. There are classics and gourmet versions. There are side dishes, appetizers, main dishes, and breakfast for dinner dishes. There are also suggestions for lightening things up, going gluten free, and more. In short, there is something for everyone.
