My View:
Double time is the the third book published in the Sinners on Tour series by Olivia Cunning. It, however, is actually the 5th book in the series. The being said, there are a few points in the book where you are thinking to yourself "woah! what just happened?" For example, you find out in the first few pages that Sticks, the drummer, has been married for seven months. However, if you take little incidents such as that in stride, you can really get into this book and enjoy it. OR at least I did :)

Trey is a self-proclaimed bi-sexual who is in love with his best friend Brian, lead guitarist for their band The Sinners. He has been since they experimented together during school. Much to Trey's chagrin, Brian is not only completely straight, he is happily married with a son of his own on the way. Trey spends his days and night fantasizing about Brian, but upon the birth of Brian's son realizes it is finally time to let that dream go. Brian, for his part, seems oblivious to the effect he has on his best friend Trey. Trey for his part plays the field (both of them) as much as he can.
After fainting while present at the birth of Brian and Myrna's first son, Trey decides to completely give up on men and retreats to his brother's mansion where he encounters a guitarist to rival his beloved Brian in talent and sound. Trey is instantly interestd by Reagan, who has won a spot as the guitarist for Trey's brother's band, but feels there is something missing... Yep typical menage plot here. They start to get hot and heavy, but Trey still wants more.
Enter Reagan's bisexual roommate (of course there would be one wouldn't there). The ride is not always smooth, and I didn't always sense that all would end with a Happily Ever After, but it was a fun read.

Olivia Cunning knows how to write the sexy stuff, but I just didn't get the feel from this one that I did from Backstage pass. I am happy to have Trey's story, however, this one felt like a menage for the sake of writing a menage *shrug* maybe that is just me. It also seemed a little longer than it needed to be. I am awaiting Book 4 Hot Ticket (Jace's Story), which I should be reviewing in January.
