September Reading Challenge #2 ~ Spell It Out

My Spell it Out Challenge for September (borrowed from the Goodreads We Love Lisa Kleypas Group) is simple. Choose a word that represents September to you and read a book for each letter in that word. (Yes, you will see some overlap in the selections for each challenge)

For me this month the word is FIRST because baby girl will be having her First birthday this month.

Read a book that features a character with a connection to the Titanic, such as someone who was on it, or survived the sinking, for example. Or a book where the Titanic figures somewhere in the plot or title. Addendum: Gerrie has expanded this to include books with stories set in some aspect of sailing - a cruise, an ocean liner, a yacht or sailboat, and characters who sail in some capacity - passenger, crew, etc. Even pirates.
